The 6^th Edition of the Seminar “Quality of data in information systems of insurance companies” was held on 7^th October 2009 in Warsaw. The seminar gathered over 100 representatives of members of the Polish Chamber of Insurance (PIU) and cooperating institutions and organizations.

 

Speakers from the Polish Financial Supervison Authority, Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the Insurance Guarantee Fund, registers of debtors and the Association “XBRL Polska” were invited to share their knowledge and experience on technological as well as legal matters related to insurance data exchange, gathering and analisys.

 

Bartosz Ochocki as a member of the Polish XBRL Jurisdiction presented on application of XBRL in insurance sector. He explained on technological aspects as well as described current projects and plans on XBRL implementation for reporting in insurance-related domains, i.e. CEIOPS plans on Solvency II and PIU’s dictionary of insurance concept.
