Seminar in December, 2009
 
Both companies together with Reporting Standard from Spain have organized in December 2009 in Santiago de Chile the 2nd edition of the XBRL Seminar.  As well as the first edition, the Seminar aimed to support Chilean listed companies in fulfilling the SVS requirements of XBRL reporting.

 
The Chilean Securities and Insurance Supervisor (Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros - SVS) adopted a modernization and development project in 2008 aiming for financial and business information transparency through the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) adoption and XBRL standard (Extensible Business Reporting Language) as a unified reporting format of financial and business information.

 
The Chilean SVS received first voluntary reports in XBRL format in June 2009 following the successful implementation of enhanced financial information reporting system for Chilean listed companies and introduces obligatory XBRL reporting from 1st January 2010.

 
The XBRL Seminar consisted of comprehensive practical and theoretical workshop on XBRL CL-CI reports preparation, SVS Taxonomy architecture and its relation to IFRS . This time the 2-day event gathered over 60 participants.
