Official Version of the new SVS CL-CI Taxonomy released
On May 26th the Chilean Securities and Insurance Supervisor (SVS) released new version of XBRL IFRS Taxonomy.
The SVS CL-CI Taxonomy 2010 builds upon the architecture of the IFRS XBRL Taxonomy 2010 released on 30th of April 2010 by the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) Foundation.
The new taxonomy contains significant architectural improvements when compared with the previous version and will allow Chilean listed companies present their financial statements in XBRL from the beginning of 2011.
Business Reporting – Advisory Group with co-operation of Reporting Standard from Spain have been advisors to the SVS on the CL-CI 2010 Taxonomy development. Additionally both companies have delivered on May 24-25 in Santiago de Chile an XBRL 2010 Workshop for Chilean listed companies in order to support them in fulfilling SVS requirements of XBRL 2010 reporting.
